About Me
‘Inspiring purposeful, happy, healthy careers in hospitality’.
Having decided at the age of 16 that I wanted a career in hospitality, I have spent the last 30-plus years following that dream. It’s been hard work, stressful and emotional at times, yet so fulfilling. I’ve had an absolute ball and met some amazing people and feel very proud to have enjoyed a successful career in the profession.
With experience in restaurant and hotel operational management, for the last 20 years or so, I have specialised in supporting others learning and personal development in both restaurants and retail, and am passionate about inspiring purposeful, happy, and healthy careers in the hospitality industry. With a focus on developing managers to thrive, retaining teams, and delighting customers, I offer hospitality-focused, in-house, or open courses tailored to meet specific needs.
For me, it’s all about building long-term relationships with my clients and seeking partnerships where I can make a lasting impact. I believe in the importance of understanding the culture and vibe of a business, ensuring that I ‘fit’ seamlessly into the organisation. This approach allows me to create an open and safe environment for learners, fostering a sense of belonging.
Integrity is a core value. I believe in delivering on my promises and working closely with clients to establish an open and honest relationship. Feedback is encouraged and embraced throughout the process, enabling continuous improvement and growth. My commitment to excellence drives me to go above and beyond for my clients and learners. I prioritise personal and professional growth for everyone involved, emphasising self-awareness, knowledge enhancement, skill development, and overall business success.
